just incase they were thirsty...
The two flower petals on the first new stem that came through on my orchid this summer are starting to wilt. The day before yesterday I rushed and went to get some water pronto just incase they were thirsty in my panic…. all the while still no change.
This morning I looked over at them and strangely and surprisingly I smiled…. These emotions are obviously methaphoric but something...

Kilimanjaro
Music is beautiful for so many reasons, but recently The Noisettes recent cover of Kilimanjaro (originally performed by Miriam Makeba) inspired me to look up more on the amazing mount kilimanjaro in Tanzania, as per usual I have shared some of what I found below.
Lets begin with some Miriam Makeba to get the feel :)
Mount Kilimanjaro
“Kilimanjaro with its three volcanic cones, Kibo,...

Christmas
So Christmas day has come and passed, as per usual, in the blink of an eye after weeks if not months of spending, preparations, advertising or just discussion. In all honesty I wasnt that excited about the prospect of Christmas because for me the whole meaning behind it, whether it be to do with family, religion, or just the spirit of giving is fading. We all know this but yet alot of us still...

Metres & Yards
Every inch.
Every centimetre.
Butterfly knot sewn in between.
Somewhere between the sky and the grass strand.
Clear and undoubted.
Heart the yelling vocal.
So internal.
Precious for its innocence and quiet tone to say.
Say.
You wont go.
Say.
You also appreciate your peaceful presence below.
Metres and yards.
At times, miles….
Apart from the glue that came in the beginning.

All in good time.
Today feels like the beginning of something, I am so relieved that this notion arrived before the New Year. Dont get me wrong, I love the prospect of change coming because the year is renewing, but sometimes I think we place too much weight on it when change can be applied today?

Security?
I walked into the Glades shopping mall the other day from the snow with my hood up and was ordered to remove it by the security guard. Umm yes, because mum and I are planning to rob debenhams and superdrugs in time for Christmas. Police state?
I hate enforcing the frustrations I feel at times, but this one had me so gobsmacked. Are you really serious? The most agitating aspect of this was...

Zebras and Octopus: Why Does Water Have Such an... →
Is it because we’re composed of almost 70% water and it stirs up our cells?
Isn’t it odd that the earth is about 70% water too? …and things like a cloud or a watermelon are also about 70% water?
Is it really just liquid harmony pouring over us when we’re in the shower? It just sets our mind…

Into the Wild.
Yesterday I was taking a cigerette break outside and found myself really watching the people around me. I went for lunch with my mum to a place we had never been to before and the community spirit and the way everyone knew each other and smiled at you regardless of whether they knew you or not, really stood out to me. It felt nice to be surrounded by that for once, London is usually the contrary.

Nepal
I Love to travel so sometimes I like to read up on different parts of the world….Today it’s Nepal, I thought I would share.
“Nepal, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, is a landlocked country in South Asia. It is located in the Himalayas and bordered to the north by the People’s Republic of China, and to the south, east, and west by the People’s...

Liquid
Tempatures.
Wild with lease point.
Pointing outward in vain.
Inward with cry.
Honesty splitting wound.
Heart attempting to name new born.
Place it.
Place me in between flesh wound.
Tie me into knot.
Tie me.
Forget me not.
What a waste.
Love bitters the taste of tongue.
Life the horizon in her failing attempts.
Cover me with the sun.
The Son.
The Son.
Heart filled with dynamite.

Frida
I watched the movie “Frida” for the first time last night. I really found this woman pretty fascinating. Not only because she was a talented artist but more for her strength and courage, passion and honesty.
It seems like she lived a very beautiful but painful life. Despite this I was left feeling really inspired by her by the end of the story.
Full of so much colour.

Shifting ties...
Loosening yesterdays clinging attempts.
Dancing it all off.
Thank you Kilimanjaro.
New week.
Third cup of tea.
I dont mind.
Closing my blinds so my neighbours cant see
Me swinging around like I lost part of my mind.
