Back from my holiday early this morning, this time around the last few busy weeks appeared to have taken me over for the few days of the trip. I found myself not able to do too much, there was alot of sleep and it felt as if my muscles were surrending with eyes closing without permission at most times of the day, it probably took three days to feel normal again. I guess when we think the motor has enough fuel at times we are very wrong…

What I will say though is that it felt so good to be back in the sunshine, the feeling of the warmth of the sun on your skin makes me feel so alive. We did very little besides eating, drinking, swimming and sitting by the pool talking, it was quite beautiful, the beaches blew us away and carried us in and as per usual we were all drawn into the magic.

I  learnt quite a bit this holiday, things I will write about and things I will just act on, I managed to write a few poems which was refreshing, I will copy a couple of those two.

Discovered two recipes that I came home with the intention to find, aubergine mash which was a whole new experience on these taste buds, I cant even explain how good it tasted. Finally the lentil dishFava, which is a greek dish (possibly Cretan, I need to research), I have pictures to post for both of these and I will do that soon, along with some possible recipes.

Home all too soon, but thankfully tonight I have the house to myself and it feels good, I have been listening to Goapeles new song over the last few minutes, very soothing…. (Its called Play) I had a good first day back, I spent most of the day cleaning, throwing things out, shuffling things around and it doesnt go without saying what a difference it can make to your mood. I also made the thai soup that I posted earliar this year which was yum, prawns, spinach, lemongrass, mushrooms, sweet potato and squash…. I stuffed my face worthy of a trophy over the last week so it made sense.

Just shut the windows because all of a sudden its cold in London.
